Just like you, we are closely monitoring new developments regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus). The health and safety of our guests and employees are of the utmost importance. As a healthcare provider, it is our responsibility to keep our patients and teammates safe and healthy.

We are committed to doing everything we can to make Cawley Physical Therapy and Rehab a safe environment when you visit us for one of your treatments. Therefore, we’ve decided to raise our usual standards of cleanliness and health safety even higher.

The first step we took was to educate our workforce using validated resources such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and the US Department of Health.

Secondly, we have intensified our housekeeping and infection control procedures to assure that we have minimized contact with any surfaces that could harbor harmful bacteria or viruses. We are following cleaning guidelines and using products registered with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Get physical therapy care from home

In order to provide care that ensures our patients and employees are staying safe and healthy, Cawley Physical Therapy will now be offering telemedicine services. Through these services, patients have the option to attend their physical therapy appointments virtually, rather than having an in-person appointment in one of our facilities. Telemedicine services allow eligible patients to receive the same outstanding care from our physical therapy team while reducing in-person contact.

We are asking all individuals who enter our clinic to:

  1. Apply hand sanitizer when you arrive and leave our facility.
  2. Wash your hands frequently, scrubbing for at least 20 seconds.
  3. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. If you don’t have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your elbow, not your hands.
  4. Put your used tissue in a hands-free wastebasket.
  5. Ask a therapist for a face mask if necessary.

We will continue to employ procedures to minimize the spread of COVID-19 according to the CDC and other credible authorities. We will keep you informed of any changes in protocols.

Also, our clinic staff will be:

  1. Cleaning and disinfecting common surfaces such as door handles, light switches, faucets, mats, exercise equipment, etc.
  2. Applying hand sanitizer or washing hands as soon as we get to work.
  3. Applying hand sanitizer or washing hands before and after eating and before returning to our work areas.
  4. Sanitizing all work stations with Clorox wipes, Lysol, or Cavicide before working.
  5. Washing our hands before and after seeing patients.
  6. Using gloves, if needed, while treating our patients.
  7. Cleaning and disinfecting our work station with Clorox wipes, Lysol, or Cavicide before we leave.
  8. Applying hand sanitizer and/or wash hands when departing the clinic.

If you need anything cleaned or disinfected, please ask for help if needed. If you are coughing or sneezing, we do have masks available.

Please stay home if you are feeling ill, especially if you have a temperature above 99.6. If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please contact us immediately so we may inform your treating therapist and reschedule.

We want you to feel safe during your visit with Cawley Physical Therapy. We assure you we will be attentive and vigilant so you can continue to benefit from your sessions.
